Yesterday (12-5-2018) we visited after many years a Checker's in Sebring, FL. We were anxious to see if it was a yummy as our former Huber Heights OH location used to be.
After ordering & check out we noticed on the back of receipt that you offer a free sandwich if you fill in a survey. As soon as we got home we began the survey and realized the receipt is totally unreadable. The printer at Checkers was apparently out of ink so we have no store number, no CK number, etc. Today (12-6-2018) my husband took the unreadable receipt to the Sebring Checkers asking if he could get a new copy of the receipt or a free sandwich since the receipt was inferior.
The server, Charles, went to the back and came out with just the store number, offering no further help. My husband went ahead ordering 2 of your fillet of fish sandwiches paying for BOTH - even through we should have had a "coupon or code" in hand indicating a free sandwich. When he got home today; he tried to again input the first purchase to get the free sandwich but still can't give adequate information off the defective receipt. Guess your offer isn't so good after all.
Then he tried to input today's purchase which did go through but instead of getting a coupon or code for a FREE Sandwich (expiring in 30 days) instead he received a coupon for a FREE Sandwich good for just 7 days. Not sure why the receipt even notes 30 days.
So we're very disenchanted with our return visit to Checkers in Sebring, FL. Not sure if we'll return or not at this point.
